Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Bars

red_shutters_delicious

My daughter and I made these Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup No Bake Bars from I Heart Naptime this weekend.

Find the recipe here. <

They are easy to make. They are delish. They are dangerous. They are calling to me from my refrigerator.

This is what I learned after making them:

1 | Peanut butter tastes better when it’s mixed with butter and sugar.

2 | OK, everything tastes better with it’s mixed with butter and sugar. Except fish. Well, maybe even fish.

3 | The recipe calls for salted butter. You can make it with unsalted butter, like we did; it is just as delicious, though not as salty.

4 | When it says to microwave the chocolate for 1-2 minutes, you should only microwave the chocolate for 1-2 minutes. Burnt chocolate is sacrilegious.

5 | No baking dessert recipes mean you can eat the dessert faster than if it had been baked. That is not necessarily a good thing.

Happy Monday! Happy Baking!
