I’ve been feelin’ crafty–and inspired–lately, so with Easter approaching, I decided to tackle making my kids Easter bunnies.
I started by using the DIY bunnies I found here, via this blog. I took the template, printed it at 150% (after trying it at 200% and 300%), taped the pages together, and cut out the bunny (after nixing the arms and legs). I used fabrics I had around the house already, including some of the kids’ receiving blankets for extra softness (and for the mush factor).
Then, I went to sewing class last week (along with some friends, we hired a sewing instructor, via Craigslist, last year, and she is terrific), and sewed the bunnies together. Here’s my crafty tale in photos:
